Bethany Lutheran Church

There is a 10:30am service at Bethany Lutheran Church.  We are located at 703 Broadway, Emmetsburg, IA.  The church that is just south of Soper Park. 

• There is an elevator on the West side of the church just inside the back door.  

• There are greeters on Sunday mornings that would be happy to answer any of your questions, just look for those with nametags on posted near the doors.  

• Sunday school is offered at 9:30am during the school year.

• Coffee Connection (typically) happens prior to worship on the 2nd Sunday of the month. This takes place in the Overflow Room located on the south side of the sanctuary.   A time of great fellowship, coffee, and treats.  

• Communion (typically) occurs the 1st & 3rd Sunday of the month.  We believe in an open table and all that believe are welcome to the table.  

• Do you have children?  During worship, we have a children's sermon that all are welcome to come forward to hear the good news.  If your chid(ren) need some help focusing during worship there is a Children's corner located in the main entry, where they can grab a busy bag, a children's bulletin, and a bible to help them during worship.

• Every Sunday, we have a time of tithes & offerings.

  • Normal offering is passed every Sunday​

  • 2nd Sunday of the month- Noisy offering is passed

    • Noisy offering is a special mission offering that goes to a local or global organization or cause.  ​

    • There are cans in the back of sanctuary anytime you feel led to give towards it but the 2nd Sunday of the month the can is passed during worship.  So make some noise and let the change clatter in the cans.
